Message Okay, I started leaking oil shortly after I performed my 120K maintenance. I have been just running on it for about 5-6k miles, filling up as necessary. Yesterday, I drove it home from work and got intermittent battery light warnings. And then trying to go out later in the evening, I was unable to start the car. I get a jump to make sure nothing else is going on and it starts up just fine. I check it out and the alternator is covered in oil, caked up pretty badly.

I presumed the leak was coming from a cam seal or the crank seal. I have torn the timing covers off and dont think anymore that its coming from one of these seals. Then again, I'm not exactly sure what I should be looking for. I guess the area might be clean, since "clean" engine oil is leaking out. I was thinking it would be more obvious.

The alternator belt may have been loose/ slipping due to oil on the belt (it seemed pretty dry though) as opposed to failing due to oil inside it. But nontheless, I still have a pretty good little leak and I'm not sure the source.

Any ideas? It seems to be coming from the passenger side, but doesn't seem to be coming from the valve cover. I have been having rough idle recently also, but that could easily be unrelated.
